This year’s Loaded LAFTA Comedy Awards nominees have been revealed, and the shortlist boasts almost all of Parliament's featured comedians! David Mitchell and Jason Manford are nominated for ‘Funniest Man’, and Jimmy Carr and Michael McIntyre are in the running for ‘Best Stand-up’. Shappi Khorsandi and Sarah Millican are in contention for the title of ‘Funniest Woman’, while Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller feature in the ‘Best Comedy Duo’ category, going head to head with David Mitchell and Robert Webb. David has also been nominated for ‘Funniest Podcast’. Other comedians who stand to benefit from their contributions to comedy shows include Rhod Gilbert (‘Funniest TV Personality’ Nominee and ‘Best Panel Show’ Nominee for  Ask Rhod Gilbert), Dara O’Briain and Hugh Dennis (Mock the Week – ‘Best Panel Show’ Nominee), and Rob Brydon (The Trip – ‘Funniest TV Show Nominee’).
