”Glory” is a collection of some of the most memorable athletes and events in British Olympic history, just in time for the upcoming London Olympic Games. There are 20 recognizable names, such as Derek Redmond and Steve Redgrave, and 12 not so familiar, but equally unforgettable ones, like swimmer Henry Taylor. Each entry is a quick a one-page summary of Olympic glory.

Tracey Savell Reavis is a journalist and sports historian who has worked as a reporter for “Sports Illustrated” magazine, Press Officer for the United States Olympic Committee, Staff Writer for the National Basketball Association and Director of Research at Callaway Golf Media Ventures. Based in Washington, D.C., Savell Reavis is currently working on a book on basketball history in Spain, a sports hall of fame project for Fordham University and collecting research for a sports documentary.
