As always, former mountaineer and speaker Joe Simpson has been busy at corporate events up and down the country. One such event was The National New Heads Conference, held two weeks ago in London. Joe used his experiences on the mountains to speak to the new head-teachers about overcoming challenges and remaining determined in the face of adversity. The Chief Executive of the National College gave Joe the following feedback:
‘I thought your speech...was terrific. Your story was compelling, inspirational and thoroughly engaging. You had the audience with you on every (painful) step of your journey. What a narrative, fantastic.’
